Diamond Brazed Grinding Drum.

A 2″ Diameter drum like the one shown above is excellent for doing an inside circle, oval, or arc. They feature the fastest material removal rate of any grinding drum when used on granite or other natural stones. This is because they’re a brazed diamond tool which has 100% diamond exposure… ensuring you of always having diamond on the material.

Brazed tools can withstand high temperatures, so you can run this tool either wet on a wet stone grinder, or dry on any grinder that has a 5/8″-11 threaded spindle, and it can be run at any speed!

Another nice feature of this tool is you will never change the shape of the drum as the diamond is all on the outside of the drum in a single layer - there is no impregnanted metal which can wear out at different speeds!

The medium grit gives a finer grind with less finish work required than the coarse, but it has a slightly reduced material removal rate than the coarse. It is still used for manually roughing in a hole in granite for an undermount sink.

See this tool in action at YouTube!

* 100% diamond exposure
* 5/8″ arbor, which fits all grinders
* Can be run wet or dry

DeWALT D24000 Tile Saw

The DeWalt D24000 10 wet tile saw is the only wet saw on the market to offer 24” rip capacity and 18” capacity on diagonal with a total weight under 70 pounds. This saw comes with a 10″ tile blade and a special jig that is a reversible rip guide and a 45 degree flat angle guide. No bevel guide is necessary as the cutting head on this saw will swivel to either a 22 S or a 45 degree angle to do bevel cuts.

The cutting cart cantilevers off the front and back of the rails to offer impressive capacity without the need for a long water pan and rail system. The D24000 is light weight and has a compact water pan that makes it possible for one user to transport the saw into the work site in just 2 easy trips. The D24000’s rail system is attached to the saw frame to ensure accurate cuts without the need for daily set-up and calibration. The saw also boasts the best-in-class water containment made possible by an adjustable water nozzle system that delivers water to the point of the cut without creating a tremendous amount of mist. The large, detachable water trays catch water spray and spill-over on large tiles to capture the water and direct it back into the pan. The D24000 delivers innovation and practical features that make it the most versatile saw on the market. The integrated 45 degree and 22.5 degree bevel feature allows the user to make fast angled cuts without the need for an awkward and bulky 45 degree cart block. The head also plunges into the material, making pocket cuts quick and easy for AC registers and electrical outlets. All of these innovations and features exist to make the user more productive.
